Hello, I pray everyone had a killer weekend celebrating your Mom. Others like me who have Mom’s living in other states and can’t be in the same room when you say: “I love you Mom,” I understand. Now, my Mom knows she doesn’t need a special day for me to remember how awesome she is or that I love her. I try to call my Mom once a week to talk and let her know I love her. My Mom has the biggest servants heart I know and she can straight up cook some FOOD!! I grew up with homemade bread. I brown-bagged it to school everyday and everyday she made me sandwiches with homemade bread. So tasty! Thank you Mom for being AWESOME!!!
We also want to say a huge thank you to all our fans. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for buying our record and spreading the word about Echoing Angels. Know that we need you in this ministry that God has given us. All we want to do is to travel all over this world sharing the music God has given us to use for His glory and a tool to minister and share life with those we come into contact with. We would love it if you could keep sharing and help us introduce more people to EA. Word of mouth is the best way to gain new fans. Thank you again for sharing and being a part of our ministry and music.
One more thing, March 22, 2011 was the most amazing day of our lives thanks to all of you and 104.7 the FISH!!!! Packing out The Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta on a Tuesday night was mind-blowing to all of us. From what we have heard there was little room to stand. Everyone who volunteered their time and effort to make that night so amazing: we are highly grateful for you! It was one of the best shows we have ever been a part of. It made 5 southern boys get teary eyed. That night was special and God’s presence was overwhelming. It was a night that we will never forget and being my first ever CD Release party/concert lit a huge fire in my soul and stirred up even stronger passion for what we do. Lets meet again at The Buckhead Theatre soon and allow our souls to entwine together as we worship our Savior! There is more to come if you want it. What was so sweet was having my whole family there to share in the moment. That night was just the beginning of what the week had in store. Stay tuned and I will share with how the rest of the week went. Awesome things continued as we traveled north to Indiana.
We love you all and THANK YOU again for your amazing support in this ministry. Lets shout it out together!
In Christ,
TREY HEFFINGER
Hey everyone! How are you all on this beautiful Fri? All is good here We had an insane weekend @graystonechurch in Loganville, GA this past weekend. Fantastic job promoting, the turnout was amazing, and God move in a mighty way. Thank all of you who came out. And the ones who could not, it’s cool. There will be another opportunity very soon I’m sure. Check our schedule on our Website, Facebook, and Myspace for updates and when we’ll be in your area.
Aside from a great weekend, I just wrapped up a very productive week at home. I don’t know about all you married fellas out there, but my wife is so awesome and the most amazing woman in the world. I lead with this because I’m about to reveal something else in regards to “Love Languages”. Rest easy….. this is PG (grin w/ a wink). Now my Love Language is affection. I am as absolutely happy as I can be if she hugs on me, gives me a kiss, or simply scratches my arm or back. Not too tough to please huh? Well her love language is acts of service. When you put the two on the scales, it seems like mine is so much easier and less time consuming and less sweat producing. However, what puts the biggest smile on her face is for her to come home and the house clean, food cooked, dishes and laundry put up, or massive work projects at least started outside.
As you know we’re approaching mothers day. I was able to have some real productive days around the house by doing massive amounts of landscaping, bricking a sidewalk and clearing around the backside of our house.. A project that I have meant to get to for a long time, but one circumstance after another has prohibited the process. Anyway, I am thankful to God to have the opportunity to serve my bride and the mother of our children in such a way. I joke with her about her love language requiring so much work. But at the end of the day, she works so much harder and endures so much more than I do. On top of that, I travel a lot leaving her a “part-time” single mom. She gives of herself so much and she shares me and her time with me with any and everyone. It is an honor and pleasure to treat her with the highest respect and service possible. She’s my princess and I’ll be her knight. Chivalry is NOT dead. Men, be men and treat your ladies well. Love on them, respect them, and serve them. If they are not mothers yet, I challenge you to do something for them this weekend. Take them out, cook for them, by them some flowers, tell them you love them. They are God’s greatest gift (other than salvation of course) to us men.
This is for you men and women. Love on your mom this mothers day If they are still with us, DO NOT let this day go by with out letting them know how much you love and appreciate her! The love of a mother is unsurpassed. My mom was and is so amazing to us. And now I see how my wife loves our boys. Love and respect your mom because chances are, she has spent a lifetime of caring for you if it meant she didn’t eat a bite until you were fed, or shivering while cold to make sure you were clothed. To my mom – I love you so much and thank you for you unending love!
Lastly – I’m gonna start a weekly “connection” with you all. I’m gonna start this coming week. What I want all of you to do is shoot me some questions. Every week I want to answer these questions personally via video. Think about what ya wanna ask and there’s no limit on how many questions you ask. I’m available at some point in time almost every day. So depending on the volume, it might start as a weekly thing up to a daily thing. Shoot them to the band’s facebook / twitter, or my facebook / twitter. I want you always to be in the know of what’s going on and a part of what we do. I would even like to possibly do a real-time skype or iChat with you. This ministry and this band all individually love you all so much and are here for you.
Please remember to keep the storm victims and communities in your hearts and prayers. Reach out and do something. Also remember our service men and women who give of themselves everyday and night to keep this country safe!
Peace and Blessings, J*P*(EA)
