Band

We thought we’d tell you a little bit about each member of the band so here goes:

Neil Tankersley is our keyboard player. Neil grew up in Gainesville, GA and started playing the piano at the age of six. He loves fried food and his favorite Bible verse is Galatians 6:9. In his spare time, he’s a super talented hair stylist and is responsible for the hair cuts of all the rest of the band members. He is married to Megan and they have one dog, a Boston Terrier, named Baxter.

Jon Poole is the loudest one in the band on the drums and would be termed as the backwoods guy of the band. He loves Sushi, Psalm 100:1-5 is his favorite Bible verse, and he’s currently reading ‘Crazy Love’ by Francis Chan and ‘Raising a Modern Day Knight’ by Robert Lewis. He married his high school sweetheart, Nikki, and they have two boys, Jayce & Journey.

Trey Heffinger is the one with the massive voice in the band. Trey grew up in Virginia and has been in Atlanta for eight years. He is married to Emily and they have two children, James & Eliza.

Shannon Cochran is the guy on the guitars. His favorite foods include three tacos (yes, just three tacos) and Schlotsky’s. Aside from playing the guitar, Shannon is a crazy talented painter and also grew up in Georgia. He’s the only single one in the band and we’re hoping his singleness doesn’t last much longer. His favorite place to play was at a castle in Wales while on a mission trip with a church. His favorite Bible verse is Zephaniah 3:17.

Josh LeBlanc is our bassist. In his spare time away from the band, he also works for a production company in Atlanta and makes sure the band sounds amazing all the time. He is married to Cami, who is a local dj in the Atlanta area, and they welcomed their first baby girl, Lacey Elisabeth, in January 2010. They also have a puppy named Gracie.
